# Follow candidates through the pipeline

See every candidate for a vacancy, stage by stage.

Every vacancy has a pipeline: the stages a candidate goes through, from the first look to the hire. The pipeline board shows each stage as a column with a card for every candidate in it.

## Open the pipeline

1.  Open **Vacancies** and click a vacancy. The stage counters show how many candidates are at each stage.
    
2.  Click **View pipeline** to open the board.
    
3.  Click a candidate's card to open their application.
    

## On the board

-   The tabs **Active, Inactive, Transferred, Dropped, Disqualified** and **Hired** split candidates by where they ended up.
    
-   Each card shows the vacancy, the unit, the vote status, the person responsible and how long the candidate has been at this stage.
    
-   Use **Add candidate** to put someone new into the pipeline, and **Funnel** on the left to see the same pipeline as a funnel.
    

## In the application

The application shows the job, the vacancy, the status, the hiring team and the assignee. Its **Pipeline** section lists the stages, who decides at each one and the votes so far.
