# Search for anything

Find people, vacancies, positions, jobs and files from one search box.

Search looks across your whole workspace at once. Start typing and results appear as you type.

## How to search

1.  Click **Search** in the sidebar.
    
2.  Type a word, for example a name or a job title.
    
3.  To narrow the results, pick a type: **Job, Vacancy, Position, People** or **File**.
    
4.  Click a result to open it.
    

## Tips

-   Use **Sort by** to switch between the most relevant and the newest results.
    
-   Use **Creator** and **Unit** to see only what a certain person created or what belongs to a certain part of the company.
    
-   Search also finds files, such as CVs attached to candidates.
